idea
The project started with the cover art, which set the direction. We searched for fitting beats and produced tracks to match the space theme. Our original plan included vocal collaborations for each track, which unfortunately never materialized.

process
01. COVER ARTThe whole project started around the cover art. We then searched for fitting beats we already had and also produced a few tracks specifically for this space theme.
02. PRODUCTIONMost of the work was produced by Lars and me. We would mostly use electronic production techniques, but also recorded some live instruments and sounds to sample from time to time.
03. COLLABORATEBut because there were many other producers in this house, we often collaborated with them as well, which made the project really fun and diverse.
04. RELEASEAfter we had a good amount of tracks together, we released the album on Spotify and other streaming platforms in order to reach more potential collaborators.
05. OUTREACH TO ARTISTSWe then reached out to various artists to collaborate on vocals for each track, but we only got about half of the tracks done before losing momentum on the project. Also COVID hit around that time, which made collaboration even harder.
